Nostropus: optimize your reach to your followers

showcase
Sep 19, 2026

Nostropus is a webapp that allows you to see what your relays store and also to synchronize notes between them to optimize your reach. Currently optimized for desktop.

Do the sync not only for yourself, but for your friends - you don't need an nsec to do that!

It has a nice visual interface with dots (green or red) representing a note for each relay.

It is beta software, lots of small things to be improved, but it's good enough to play around.

Feedback welcome! What do you think the next feature should be? What is it what frustrates you?

Love the idea, and the UI is really cool!
I just fixed some missing notes on nostr.wine :)

The infinite scrolling is a little wobbly and not very easy to understand, because the list sometimes becomes empty; I would make it manual with a explicit button Load the next X notes.

Is it opensource? A link to the sources in the footer would be nice.

The source code is now linked, thanks for the heads up.

For people with a lot of events or slow computer, the scrolling is very slow, it's true.
I'll try to work around that.

And a lot of small things: it aborts the sync process on first error. This needs more robustness and more info to show to the user. We need to know what's going on deep down.

Also expect tabbed view coming soon!

Thank you @Lez, I will check it.

I like this a lot!

It reminds me of an idea I had very early when I was getting into Nostr. But I never turned that idea into something that works.

https://nostropus.com/ is here something quite unresponsive and I see a lot of console logs being rendered too. I guess it's having a hard time processing the amount of events related to my profile.

Very handy. Using it right now.

I haven't tried this yet (I will soon), but it's a cool idea.
