Welcome to Apps, the room for the software people actually use on Nostr: clients, extensions, signers, relay software, odd little tools. Show what you built, announce what you shipped, review what you tried, and tell developers what is broken.

Pick a tag when you open a discussion

• showcase — you are presenting a project for the first time. Say what it does, who it is for, and link it.
• release — a new version of something we already know.
• report — a bug or a problem with an app.
• question — choosing between apps, or asking how one works.

House style

• Put the app name in the title, for example Wisp: image upload fails on iOS 18.
• One discussion per app for showcases and releases. Reply to your own discussion with updates instead of opening a fresh one every version. Your changelog becomes a story people can follow.
• Be specific in feedback. What happened, on which platform, with which version. It is broken helps nobody, least of all the person who could fix it.
• Developers, ask away. Testers, feedback, opinions on a design: all welcome. Marketing copy without substance is not.
• Show, do not just tell. Screenshots and short videos are great. Upload them with the image button in the editor.
